Continuing with my personal interview series, this time i thought of bringing forward the most hard working person in Belgaum Private Travels sector. He is none other than Mr Deepak SH, the Branch Manager of SRS Travels, Belgaum.

SRS Travels, a private bus travels operator from Karnataka, is well known for its well equipped and modern fleet of buses, that do intrastate and interstate route journeys in and out of Karnataka. With its head office, in Kalasipalayam, Bangalore, SRS travels have non ac and ac buses inducted in its fleet, which includes Ashok Leyland Ashley Non AC and AC coaches both sleeper and seater and a large fleet of VOLVO multiaxles tinged with the latest addition of Scania Metrolink HD multiaxles.

Mr Deepak, a very well mannered, and gentle person is known to me from the year 2012, when i first started my VOLVO faning in my current city of  Belgaum. He has helped me every manner in clicking SRS buses in and around Belgaum. He is not only well known to me but a very good friend of mine.

He started his work in the Travels industry in the year 1999 with Barde Travels and was manager in the company from the year 1999 - 2007. In the year 2007, Deepak joined Hindustan Unilever and continued working there until 2009.

In January 2010, Deepak joined Shantadurga Travels, the only private travel operator from North Karnataka with Mercedes Benz Buses. He was the manager at the company's head office at Tilakwadi. After working for 6 months, he joined SRS Travels Belgaum as a Branch Manager in July 2010, and is currently continuing with the job till 2014.

Upon being asked about his work as a Manager in SRS, he says that SRS Belgaum head office is open 24x7 as its a check point for the SRS buses running on Bangalore - Mumbai, and also for buses on Gujarat and Rajasthan routes from Bangalore, because of which his duty as a Manager has increased manifold in order to look for the pick ups and drops of passengers, which also includes bookings, managing schedules, departures and also regular check of the buses. Apart from his regular work at his office, deepak also does round up with the company vehicle to Barde Petrol Pump, near kakti belgaum, which is a regular refueling station for SRS buses now. He also pays subsequent visits to Hatargi and Bagewadi Toll plaza's for routine check up of seats and buses.
