DEDICATED BUS BAYS FOR DEPARTURES AND ARRIVALS AT GUWAHATI ISBT, ASSAM

I met Mr Biju Deka, Divisional Engineer, ASTC, Guwahati ISBT during my last visit to Guwahati ISBT. He told that the Assam government along with ASTC is have plans to include and provide more passenger facilities and to upgrade the ISBT like a model Bus Port with more parking facilities and other utilities for public convenience.

The Guwahati ISBT have become a model hub and transit point for the entire North East India. Opening of such bus ports in adjoining sister states of North East will be a welcoming step to boost the use of road and surface transport in Assam and North East India.
