VRL have started using Speed Limiting Sensors on some of its VOLVO B9R Multiaxles. Upon being asked in Panjim (Goa), the crew of the Panjim (Goa) - Hyderabad VRL VOLVO B9R Multiaxle KA25 C 8319 Crew told that the box like object on the bumper is a speed limiting sensor, which detects obstruction ahead on the road and alerts the driver.
As the crew was getting ready to depart i could not gather more technical information about it, but this kind of sensor is first of its kind seen on any bus in this region.
