The Emergency Exit of all new National Scania Metrolink HD 13.7 mtr multiaxle Sleeper seemed very properly built to me, with full space for the passenger to exit in case of any mishaps of incident of fire. I have observed that in case of sleeper coaches, the Upper Berth blocks the Emergency Exit and hence obstructs it, which may lead to difficulty in evacuation of passengers, in emergency situations like accidents or fire etc.
Unfortunately till date we dont have any ARAI / CIRT Bus Code for Sleeper Coaches in India.
