The company employs 1100 people and its esteemed clients are Mahindra & Mahindra (Truck and Bus Division) Ltd, Ashok Leyland Ltd, APSRTC, TSRTC and institutional clients and today is one of the leading privately owned bus building group of companies.
To further the Vision and Mission of MG Group, Alma Motors Pvt Ltd, was established in 2004, at Belgaum, Karnataka. It is spread over 18,000 sq metres having an annual cpacity of 4,500 buses. The company employs 900 people and its esteemed clients are Ashok Leyland Ltd (Domestic and Export), MAN Trucks India Pvt Ltd, and Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles Ltd.

The 'Columbus' is first-of-its-kind, a Monocoque Ultra-low Flat-floor Tarmac Coach. The coach is developed currently for international markets with a passenger entry floor height at as low as 290 mm (at kneeling). With reliable and proven drive line aggregates from ZF and Cummins, a fully composite leak-proof roof panel and lit with LEDs, making it a product of global standards. This 12 metre long coach has a passenger capacity of 70 (8 seated & 62 standees). The coach is feature packed with ECAS, ABS, & CAN bus systems, and fully complies with Airport Handling Manual regulations.

Apart from unveiling the Columbus, MG group launched the Mammoth, the Flagship Premium Luxury Coach, for the Indian market, with its sleeper and seater variants. The Mammoth is already being produced for international markets since its unveiling last year at Bus World 2015 in Mumbai, but MG is now introducing this product in the domestic market with a new 280 HP front engine driveline.
