Tata G2 at Prawaas 2017 Tata Motors passenger solutions come in a wide range from 4 seater to 65 seater in fully built vehicles (buses and vans). Chassis options vary from 5m length to 12m length. Tata Motors had its information stall at the recently concluded inaugural edition of Prawaas Bus and Car exhibition at CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Vashi, Navi Mumbai India.It showcased the G2 AC Luxury Bus in the medium range bus section.
Built by Tata Marcopolo Motors Ltd at its Dharwad Plant, G2 is a product of superior design and state of the art body building technology. Its refreshing aesthetics ensure passengers reach their destination in comfort and style with every trip. The G2 range includes 20 & 27 seater buses. Its trendsetting features include - Improved rear and front fascia, bigger driver door, refreshing flooring carpet, high mount stop lamp, heavy duty pantographic wiping system, newly designed windshield internal panel, LED lamps, Profile finishers, and improved NVH packaging.
G2 is available in two BS IV Chassis platforms - one is the LP 410/34 BS-IV Diesel Chassis and the other is the LP 712/42 BS-IV Diesel Chassis, both carrying the same TATA 497 TCIC Common rail engines with varying engine power and torque.
