The much awaited John Volvo B11R I-Shift Multiaxles arrived at Guwahati ISBT today morning after its hectic tour from Bengaluru via Delhi to Guwahati. The coaches after getting delivered at Bengaluru were at Delhi for installing the seats before its final arrival in Assam. They are scheduled to leave to Tinsukia soon, to John Head Office.
As confirmed by official sources, these coaches will be deployed on Guwahati - Digboi / Margherita replacing its erstwhile Volvo B7R Mark 3 coaches. I have been tracking the coach since its departure from Bengaluru, and i would like to take the opportunity of thanking the co-operative Bus Crew who have helped me and the Buses of Assam Group from Assam regarding taking the clicks at Guwahati ISBT.
