One of the most known private bus fleet operators of Assam - John Travels have got delivery of its first batch of Volvo B11R I-Shift Multiaxle coaches from Volvo Buses India at Bengaluru, today on 11th June 2018.
John Travels, which already has a fleet 4 Volvo B7R Mark 3 CRDI coaches in the premium segment, in a fleet expansion drive, now has included 2 new Volvo B11R multiaxle coaches. John Travels now becomes the first private bus fleet operator in Assam and North East India to bring these premium Volvo B11R I-Shift Automatic Transmission multiaxle coaches in the region.
It may be recalled that marking a swift begining in the month of January 2018, ASTC (Assam State Transport Corporation) had already started multiaxle bus operations in Assam with PPP (Public Private Partnership).
