A new venture by the name of Eastern Lines, is all set to start its Volvo multiaxle service between Guwahati and Nazira via Jorhat and Sibsagar from 28th December, according to trusted sources. The fleet operator start-up from Guwahati, have brought a Volvo B9R multiaxle seater coach from Delhi, which is scheduled to operate soon on the said route, as to and fro day / night service.

The coach has Harita made pushback seats in 2+2 seating configuration. Its a 53 seater coach. The online booking facility for the coach will be made available through Redbus, and it will run under ASTC operation.
A pairing Volvo B9R multiaxle seater coach is expected to join the first coach soon for fleet operations in 2019, as told by MD and owner, Mr Bhrigu.
