Monikanchan (Under ASTC Operation) in partnership with Sahu Transport, Delhi have recently inducted 2+2 Ashok Leyland AC Seater coaches with onboard toilet facility for Ladies. The coaches have been built by Royal Auto Coach Builders, Jaipur (Rajasthan). More such coaches will be arriving in Assam, as told by trusted sources.

The interiors have a beautiful decorum with nice ambient lighting. With a 2+2 seating configuration, there are mobile cum laptop charging ports for each row.

There is an on-board toilet for ladies in the coach, placed in the front of the coach, with an exhaust fan.

The first route of the coaches is said to be on Guwahati to Margherita via Dibrugarh / Tinsukia / Digboi as heard from some sources. Another route under consideration is Guwahati to Silchar, although it is not certainly confirmed as of now.
