The newly inducted coaches bear luxurious sleeper berths on the upper half while, the comfortable semi sleeper seats (sutlej seats) with calf-support have been placed on the lower rows in the popular 2+1 configuration. The 2+1 seat configuration incepted since early 2000's is very popular amongst the passenger segment in Assam and North East, and operators mostly prefer the same seating layout in most of their coaches.

The interiors of the both the new coaches have LED glow gangway boards with branding and Sleeper berth / Seat numbers. Each row have individual reading lamps and USB charging ports.
