Deep Travels inducts in-house built coach. Implements optimistic future plans - says MD, Tushar Sood

Deep Travels is one of the profound bus fleet operator from Assam and North-East India. With its fleet operations covering Assam, States of North-East India and West Bengal, Deep Travels is making its prolific presence on most of the strategic routes and tourist destinations in the region. 

With time, the bus fleet operator has now started their own in-house bus body building, in its garage cum parking facility, located at Guwahati and has scaled a step ahead, emerging as an overall leader on its domain. Deep Travels, yesterday launched its another in-house built newbie branded as "Optimus Prime" under its exclusive - Transformer Series. Optimus Prime is a non-ac 2+1 Sleeper cum Seater coach with 35 - 2+1 executive seats  and 15 - 2+1 Sleeping Upper Berths, with a grand 50 passenger inclusive capability on Ashok Leyland Chassis.

Speaking on an telephonic conversation to me, Mr Tushar Sood, MD, Deep Travels felt, "I have been trying my level best to my capability to maximize our in-house built luxury coaches, for our fleet operations. The new coaches currently being launched are our deluxe 'Transformer Series' based on the well known - Transformer hollywood movie character theme. We have already launched 'Bumble-Bee' a few months ago, and that bus is now catering on Guwahati to Aizawl (Mizoram) route, while the new entrant 'Optimus Prime' , has been now inducted on an Intra-Assam route, doing Guwahati to North Lakhimpur via Bihpuria. The new sleeper / seater coach is fitted with all required amenities like overhead individual reading lamps, mobile charging ports, mobile holders and laptop charging ports, for the convenience of the travelling passengers, on-board."

Forecasting future initiatives and plans, Mr Sood, said, "Self-reliability is my prime focus and I am trying to use my technical knowledge in its best possible use and feasibility for my fleet operations. While we will continue to build our buses in future from well known bus body builders like Amar, Janata etc., we also look forward to strengthen our in-house bus body building capability and facility."
